Perdomo Estate Selección Vintage Maduro

Perdomo's ESV line first debuted in 2005 as a tribute to the late Nicholas Perdomo Sr., using tobaccos from a 1991 harvest. The cigar returned in 2016, featuring a new look and blend that incorporated the first crop of tobaccos from the family's Finca Natalie Farm in Nicaragua (named after Nick Perdomo Jr.'s daughter). The 2019 incarnation of Perdomo Estate Selección Vintage features a new look once more, along with a tweaked blend that incorporates only the top five percent of the Perdomo family's estate-grown tobaccos from the same Finca Natalie Farm. While the cigars are sometimes referred to as limited-edition, the ESV has an ongoing production of nearly one million cigars per year.

The dark, oily Cuban-seed Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper offers thick plumes of aromatic smoke with notes of chocolate and coffee. The Cuban-seed Nicaraguan binder and filler offer a rich spiciness with oaky undertones. The combination of the wrapper, binder, and fillers in this blend offers sweet flavors with rich complex aromas, and a smooth espresso finish.
