Originally crafting cigars in the Dominican Republic, Nomad Cigar Co. followed their brand’s motto of, “Be Nomad Be Anywhere”, venturing to Nicaragua for the majority of recent releases. In addition, the brand has partnered with a wide variety of factories, moving to the recently founded Fabrica Oveja Negra factory for their latest release: Martial Law.
Martial Law is based on one of the brand’s most popular cigars, Estelí Lot 8613—offering a similar profile with an amped-up experience.
The Esteli Lot 8613 has been one of my most popular blends. I love the rustic nature of it but also wanted something with a bit more punch or complexity. Basically the Matial Law blend started as my wanting a double ligero version of the Lot 8613 and kind of grew from there.
—Fred Rewey
The cigars were introduced to the market in July, 2016—including a singular, toro size for optimal smoking experience for the new blend.
